Built in 1989, the Maguire family are the proud owners of this 5-bedroom family home, located in a semi-rural part of West Sussex.

After 30 years of ownership, the Maguire’s have put their stamp on the home, with a previous extension at the rear, and have always done their best to keep on top of maintaining their forever home.

“It came to a point where we felt we had to replace the windows, and whilst we perhaps could have ‘made do’ with just replacing the cills, we felt a full replacement would be the way to go and get it all done at once” Mr Maguire explains.

The desire for new windows opened the Maguire’s up to multiple suppliers, styles and options to choose from, and their vision for the home helped guide them to Dale Joinery. “We researched a number of window suppliers from various builders merchants, and liked the Dale range on display at the Covers branch in Chichester.”

Mrs Maguire happened to walk past a house locally who were having Dale Joinery products installed. The builders for this home were locally renowned developers, King & Drury, who, after speaking to Mrs Maguire, were more than happy to help with their project.

Beautiful new casement windows and door sets have now been installed, giving the Maguire’s home a much-welcomed facelift, as Mr Maguire comments “the project was well managed without any fuss and any issues were rectified swiftly. We are delighted with our windows and doors from Dale, and feel they have made a significant upgrade to our property.”

THE DALE JOINERY SOLUTION

Flush Casement Windows
Traditional flush casement windows in the shade of ‘Pure White’ were specified by the Maguire family. Throughout the home, a mixture of windows with a single, horizontal glazing bar, and others combined with leaded light detailing were installed, replicating the style of the originals.

Bi-Fold Doors
In the kitchen, the Maguires had the initiative to change the style of the kitchen, and replace old French doors with a 3-panel set of timber bi-fold doors. Incorporating bi-fold doors into the kitchen has given the Maguire’s greater flexibility and easier, open access to the patio.

French Doors
A new set of traditional French doors with sidelights was also installed in the family living room in the same ‘Pure White’ finish as the new windows and bi-fold doors.
