Deceuninck has recently won the prestigious RoSPA Gold Medal award for its ongoing commitment to health and safety. The ‘Gold Medal’ is only awarded to serial winners like Deceuninck who have won the gold award five times or more.
The RoSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) awards scheme is the largest and longest-running programme of its kind in the UK. This year marks the 60th anniversary of the awards, which recognise organisations’ commitment to continuous improvement in accident and ill-health prevention. The scheme looks at accident records, entrants’ health and safety management systems and its leadership and workforce involvement.
Deceuninck Health & Safety Coordinator, Lew Harvey, attended the awards ceremony to collect the award.
“It’s a huge achievement to win the RoSPA Gold award for the fifth year running,” says Deceuninck Managing Director Roy Frost. “The award highlights our commitment to the wellbeing of staff by providing a safe and healthy working environment. More than that, it shows Deceuninck’s focus on quality in every aspect of the business.
“I’d like to thank Lew Harvey, Deceuninck Health & Safety Coordinator for all the hard work in overseeing our Health & Safety policy and submitting another successful entry.”
