More than 14,000 linear metres of 28 x 145mm C16 JB Standard castellated decking was specified for the Edmund Street in Camerwell, a regeneration scheme for Notting Hill Housing. The product was chosen because it is a high-quality structural timber deck board that uses kiln-dried European redwood. It has a multispan range of 290mm, which makes it idael for balconies and other outdoor spaces.

The 279 new homes are a mix of private, social and affordable housing is arranged in ten blocks ranging from three to seven stories in height. There is a broad mix of residential types, ranging from apartments and duplex units to family houses, all achieving Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4.

The scheme aimed to reconnect streets to the surrounding area, providing new, safe pedestrian links and integrated public amenity spaces at key locations.

Homes have been developed using a mix of building types and a variety of heights, with variations in roof forms, materials and textures utilised to create a varied street scene built around defined character areas.
