Recently Royal Russell School had a 375kVA Volvo diesel generator installed by FDL Generators to provide back-up electrical power for one of its main HV power transformers.
The system was ordered with extensive fuel capacity and automatic changeover panel to supply standby power within seconds of any mains failure.
The system included Deep Sea SCADA controls for enhanced system management with SMS capability to alert staff to its operation.
