Discreteheat in a new build project down under

The client, Dr Sigal Jacobson, first came across the ThermaSkirt product when she visited the Herald Sun Home Show at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre in August 2014.

They were half way through building their new home amd originally were set to have traditional panel radiators installed upstairs. After seeing The ThermaSkirt product at the exhibition they chose the product due to its discrete, stylish properties to finish the heating for their new home.

The home had been designed with hydronic in-slab heating on the ground floor and traditional wall hung panels for the first floor. ThermaSkirt Australia took over the contract to provide the hydronic heating for the home with the ground floor in-slab heating already installed and the pipework run for the panel radiators by the previous contractors. The original brief was to make the required alterations to the existing system so that ThermaSkirt could be installed instead of the panel radiators.

Despite coming into the build process at a very late stage the end results have been spectacular. The home now has a state of the art, stylish and discrete hydronic heating system that will save them money for years to come.

The clients are extremely happy with the end result as they now have the advantages of the ThermaSkirt system throughout the whole house – fast response times, low water content & high efficiency irrespective of floor coverings.
