DKNY Jeans, New Bond Street, London

Client: DKNY Jeans
Type of works: supply of ironmongery and high-quality lever furniture in bronze.

DKNY Jean’s flagship store has arrived in prestigious New Bond Street with a cool vibe. The concept of the fit-out is based on New York’s art gallery district and follows the same store fit which has been used in all of the brand’s UK shops and complements the brand’s retail concept. The colours follow the branding which includes black and white floors and ceilings with yellow fixtures.

The main internal features are the hanging rails which are suspended from high ceilings, mirrors and changing rooms, three on each floor. The lighting uses spotlight effects on the shop floor whilst light boxes are used within the changing rooms which can be used as a 360-degree mirror.

Metal fixtures and wooden crates are key features of the merchandising of the stock. Footwear, shorts and bags are showcased on wooden crates of varying heights of and sizes, whilst the main clothing line and lingerie are displayed on metal fixtures.

To complement the interior features, Strada provided the entire ironmongery requirement including high-quality lever furniture in bronze.
