Based on the award-winning, elegant Contur design styling, the DORMA CS 80 is a “first” in the automatic door market. It is the first fully automatic magnetic drive unit, which means it is totally silent in operation. It operates single-leaf sliding doors up to 80kg in weight – glass, wood or metal – with opening widths of 875mm, 1,000mmm and 1,125mm.

Its compact design and slim operator profile means it can be discreetly wall mounted or alternatively it can be concealed within a cavity wall. Potential applications range from public buildings to private homes. There are a number of operating modes – it can be pushed open and left to close automatically, or it can be activated by remote control, radar motion detector, or pushbutton.
