Aggregate Industries announces the appointment of Dragan Maksimovic as Chief Executive Officer starting 1st June, 2021. Dragan joins the company from Sika, one of the leading global organisations in the development and production of systems and products for the building materials and automotive sectors.

With more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry, Dragan held various executive positions in leading building material suppliers. Over the years he developed his career in the industry in technical and sales representative roles, and most recently was Country CEO in Sika UK. Under his leadership, Sika UK delivered exceptional business results and an increased financial performance.

Dragan holds an MBA from the University of Sheffield and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He has also completed an International Leadership Program at IMD in Switzerland. Dragan succeeds Guy Edwards, who has decided to pursue other career opportunities outside the organisation, after making a significant contribution over the last decade with LafargeHolcim, through various P&L roles in the UK & US.
