Recognised for a beautiful variety of saunas and steam rooms, Dröm UK designed, supplied and installed the extensive ground floor leisure complex of a new, substantial private residence in Ascot, Berkshire.

The sauna and steam rooms were constructed alongside a gymnasium and swimming pool and Dröm UK worked closely with the client’s agent and M&E consultant to ensure perfect integration and detailing throughout, ensuring the highest standards were achieved at every stage.

Within the sauna, strips of solid Aspen were used to form the wall, ceiling and benches, creating a contemporary and clean look. The wood was complemented by frameless china blue glass, used both for the door and for the window that overlooks the property’s landscaped gardens. A classic SD16 professional sauna heater and an H1 digital control panel demonstrate state-of-the-art technology. Backrest mood lighting and downlights were installed within the ceiling.

For the steam room, Dröm UK created a heated, ergonomically-shaped bench finished with mosaic tiles, along with a marble footrest. Again, china blue frameless glass doors were used with polished chrome hardware. Overhead, a dark blue stretch ceiling was installed containing a multitude of ‘starry’ fibre optic lights.
