Maintaining lighting continuity where it matters most
Lighting in healthcare facilities, laboratories, plant rooms and other continuously occupied or safety-critical environments cannot afford unnecessary interruption. The Metway MCC10D has been developed specifically for applications where lighting needs to remain operational in the event of a mains supply failure.
The MCC10D is a dual-supply lighting control module, allowing two independent 230V supplies to feed a lighting circuit. Should one supply fail or be isolated, the lighting can continue to operate from the remaining live supply, providing a practical solution for maintaining continuity without complex on-site wiring arrangements.
Rated at 12A total load, with a maximum of 6A per output, the MCC10D combines dual-supply functionality with Metway's compact modular approach to lighting control.
Designed with installation in mind
For contractors and facilities teams, straightforward installation and maintenance are just as important as electrical performance. The MCC10D provides a compact, clearly configured solution that can help simplify installation, fault finding and future maintenance.
The module is manufactured from flame-retardant UL94 V0 polycarbonate, providing a robust enclosure suitable for demanding installation environments.
Metway can also supply pre-manufactured MCC lead assemblies, cut and stripped to the required length and fitted with dedicated MCC plugs. This provides a complete, installation-ready solution that can reduce on-site preparation and wiring time.
A practical solution for critical lighting
Whether specified for a new-build project or refurbishment, the MCC10D provides designers and contractors with a dedicated solution for dual-supply lighting control where continuity is essential.
