Durable rubber floorings for Childrens Hospital

nora® rubber floorings extremely long lifetime is endorsed by the fact that in 2006 14,500 sqm of noraplan floorings were installed at Evelina Childrens Hospital and are still giving good service today.

Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust has invested £2 million in a new, child-friendly building. The children’s dentistry and orthodontics centre, which treats approximately 10,000 outpatients a year, is also the largest dental school in Europe.

The St Thomas’ site now brings together the services of the new Dental centre and Evelina Childrens Hospital (also part of the foundation trust) making it easier for children who are already in hospital with serious health conditions to be seen on the same site.

noraplan sentica has contributed to bright colours and wall art that is welcoming and cheerful. The dense, unbroken surface of the flooring prevents dirt absorption, enabling efficient cleaning, without any coating. With high walking comfort and excellent footfall sound absorption properties, the rubber flooring contributes to the environment in many ways. Above this, the floorcoverings’ extreme durability, backed up by excellent slip resistance properties ensure lasting safety for generations.
