Electric strikes for English manor house

Electric strikes for English manor house

Clarke Instruments were approached by an architect to provide an aesthetically pleasing access control solution for a manor house in Southern England.

The architects were specifically looking for electric strikes with brass face plates to work with locks they had previously selected.

First Clarke Instruments tried out their 903 model, but in the end the spring latch was too wide. As a solution they made the cavity for the spring latch a little wider to accommodate.

Additionally, there were two non-standard rebated doors which require special attention. The company supplied the architects with details drawings of their proposed solution and also provided cut out drawings for the main contractor to follow.

The equipment was delivered to site on time in November 2016.
