Megaview from the Hunter Douglas Venetian Blind collection is an exciting new concept in window covering design that provides a “double outside view” for a building’s occupants with increased daylight and significant savings on a building’s energy consumption.

During operation the 25mm slat blind closes as normal with the added attraction that when opening and tilting the slats, every alternate slat springs up and clings invisibly to the slat above thus creating a broader 50mm view even with narrower 25mm slats. Megaview has a double pitch distance (space between two slats) and controls access to privacy, daylight and outside view, at the same time.

The MegaView collection is available in the full Hunter Douglas range with the most vibrant of contemporary colours, including special finishes and perforations.

The Megaview concept was rewarded in 2009 when awarded first prize at the R & T Blind & Shutters Exhibition in Stuttgart and drew praise from the judges for it’s innovation, quality, everyday functionality and marketability.
