Broxap were tasked with providing a number of feature glazed entrance canopies at the latest extension of the Lime Square Retail Park in Manchester.

Broxap created a series of bespoke cantilever ‘T’ arm 8mm planar glass canopies that were 6000mm wide with a 2000mm projection.

Toughened glass was was supported on 316 stainless steel spiders whilst the galvanized steel framework was polyester powder coated to RAL Tele Grey 7047.

Guttering was added with an aluminium down pipe which accessed the main building columns and fed into downpipes that dispersed rainwater into the main drainage system.

Broxap installed the canopies during construction of the main buildings to allow wall plates to be positioned with minimal obstruction and glazing easily retrofitted once the main building construction was complete.
