Gariff Construction reached out to Pacy & Wheatley Acoustics to submit a bid for installing a specialised Rockfon Mono Acoustic ceiling system in the newly designed, cutting-edge Everton Football Club stadium. Situated in the heart of Liverpool’s historic docks, the stadium will hold 52,888 passionate fans.
The stadium is the first of its kind in the UK, having been built on land that was previously water! Before construction could begin, the dock needed filling- truly an exciting project to be a part of from start to finish!
The Solution
After thorough discussions between Pacy & Wheatley Acoustics and Gariff Construction Ltd, it was agreed that we would supply and install 480m² of Rockfon Mono Acoustic in the 1878 Brasserie as well as 100m2 in the first team changing room facilities, which house the Everton Crest.
The 1878 Brasserie is a high-end area where match viewing is from a Director’s box and has all the facilities and presentations within Rockfon Mono Acoustic was chosen for its Class A sound absorption, which plays a critical role in minimising noise reverberation and creating a more focused environment, a pleasant atmosphere for the players and fans alike. Its sleek, seamless design not only enhances the stadium’s modern look but also offers both practical benefits and aesthetic appeal. This high-performance acoustic solution ensures a peaceful, comfortable environment, perfect for allowing guests to fully enjoy their experience with minimal distractions while improving the overall acoustics of the space.
