Expanded Metal for Jamaica Street Plinth

Expanded Metal for Jamaica Street Plinth

Navigli architectural expanded metal from the Locker Group has been installed as screening at Jamaica Street, Liverpool. The mesh, manufactured in 3mm aluminium and polyester powder-coated (PPC) finished, provides a stunning backdrop to an outdoor exhibition space in the heart of Liverpool City Centre which is intended to house artworks replaced every 6-12 months.

‘The McKeown Rice Exhibit Space’ has been created in memory of Claire McKeown and Paul Rice, founder members of Baltic Creative CIC. The mesh is installed primarily for screening purposes to hide a number of wall mounted AC units, but also achieves an aesthetically pleasing finish which perfectly off-setts the artwork in front. The panelled mesh screen also incorporates hidden doors allowing easy access for ongoing maintenance.
