We’re buzzing with news of three prestigious shortlistings in this year’s A link to a website: RCI Magazine’s Facade Awards UK – with our combination of A1 fire rated EWI systems on The Fairfax in Manchester and a shortlisting for our Centre Court ETICS systems in Nottingham.

The Fairfax, a two-tower flagship project, caught the judges’ eyes in two categories:

The Best New Build – Large Residential Project and the Best Use of a Brick Slip Cladding System.

The Fairfax features 11,000sqm of two of our A link to a website: Kiwa UK certified ETICS systems, with our AlivaBrick clay slip system in grey and grey white featured alongside our customised, cuboid, 3D effect ceramic slips.

RAL-matched in three shades of grey, our AlivaCeramic system has realised a distinct design on the project that stems from the concept of mathematical tessellation, where geometric shapes repeat seamlessly across a surface.

This flagship Build to Rent project for A link to a website: Olympian includes towers of 22 and 28 floors linked by a large glazed central atrium that forms social space for residents.

An ace for Centre Court in Nottingham

It’s also an ace for our EWI facade blend on Centre Court in Alfreton Road, Nottingham. The project has also been shortlisted in the Facade Awards’ Best Use of a Brick Slip Cladding system category – fabulous news served up during Wimbledon weeks.

Our combination of A1 fire rated, Kiwa UK certified AlivaBrick alongside our green AlivaCeramic profiled tiles have created the perfect double to give this 790 bed Purpose Built Student Accommodation the advantage.

The project features 9,300sqm of our ETICS systems on this stunning PBSA project within walking distance of Nottingham Trent University and the University of Nottingham.

This duo of facade systems are game set and match to realise the design intent of architect A link to a website: Hodder+Partners for this Olympian project. We’re delighted to have worked in partnership with main contractor RG Group and installer A link to a website: Metclad who entered this project in this award category.
