The weather has been hot recently, so how does Farrow & Ball exterior paint fare? Exterior Masonry is the super-matt, long-lasting finish for exterior walls from Farrow & Ball. Using a blend of acrylic and silicon resins, the brand’s chemists have created the perfect combination of breathability and water resistance, resulting in a formula that offers colour and protection for up to 15 years – all in a sophisticated finish with just 2% sheen.
Provided it has been applied in accordance with its Product Advice Sheet, Exterior Masonry will be resistant to flaking, peeling, colour fade, fungi and algae, and water, giving your client a fresh-looking result that’s made to last.
For a speedy application, Exterior Masonry doesn’t even require a primer. However, if the surface you’re working with has unsound areas, you can patch-prime with Farrow & Ball Masonry & Plaster Stabilising Primer. For specific advice on surfaces including interior concrete floors, render, brickwork, and terracotta, see the Product Advice Sheet.
