A year after its introduction to the Redland product range, the Fenland Pantile is thriving and examples of developments using the tile are popping up everywhere. In the last year, the Fenland Pantile has become a favourite of the volume builders and has been used as the tile of choice on hundreds of homes across the Norfolk and Suffolk regions.
The tile’s popularity has also stretched far beyond the East Anglia heartlands of the pantile to as far afield as Cornwall where it is being used in a large development of 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes. The tile was initially brought into production as a replacement for the Norfolk Pantile due to its improved aesthetics. With its classic single pantile shape in the updated concrete format, the Fenland Pantile offers weather-tight performance in all conditions. During its creation, Redland’s technical team took the opportunity to make some important improvements by introducing a significantly thinner leading edge.
Fenland Pantiles are currently available in a range of seven colours, the most recent of which is a Black colour which was in response to the very specific requirements of East Anglia.
