Jim Bett, Clerk of Works for Fife Housing Association, discovered Radiwarm water filled electric radiators when researching an alternative to the existing storage heaters in 40 properties requiring a routine upgrade in Kennoway, Fife. Fife Housing Association installed a pilot house with five Heat Electric radiators. By fitting an energy monitor before installation, Fife monitored the tenant’s energy spend and saw a saving of over £5 a week on heating costs.

Jim continued “A saving of anywhere up to £15 a week would be possible if energy was supplied through a supplier which provides an Economy 10 tariff. We are now encouraging all our tenants to switch suppliers to receive maximum benefit from their new Radiwarm systems.”
