Flexible training space for iMet technical centre

Flexible training space for iMet technical centre

Two DORMA Variflex partitioning walls have been installed by Style Partitions at the iMet technical training centre in Alconbury Weald, specialising in manufacturing, engineering and technology.

The partitioning walls combine to sub-divide a large training area into two or three discrete classrooms, on the first floor.

A third Variflex wall creates two smaller training rooms located on the other side of the building, which can also be opened up to create one larger area.

Acoustics of 55dB Rw ensure training sessions can run alongside each other with no disturbances.

Three manually operated DORMA Variflex moveable walls were installed all finished in a classic polar white coating.

The DORMA Variflex system is manufactured from 97% recyclable material. The panels are manufactured separately from the frame meaning that replacement and repairs are simple.

Variflex also holds an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) in accordance with ISO 14025 and EN 15804, demonstrating science-based, verified and comparable information about its environmental performance.

Style has also achieved accreditation under ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System.
