Furnitubes played a major role in the regeneration of the car park at Birmingham’s Gallagher Retail Park.

A £5million redevelopment has recently been completed to introduce new retail units and restaurants to provide a more varied retail and food & beverage experience, and to improve the car parking environment.

A major part of the car park infrastructure works has been the introduction of extensive new tree planting, for which Furnitubes’ Eltham grilles and guards have been used to offer protection to the trees.

Installed within raised kerb islands, the contemporary styling of the products were ideal for the new image of the retail park, whilst also being an economic choice given that over 40 new trees and grille and guard sets were required.

The guards feature Furnitubes’ unique adjustable clamp system, which allows them to be installed truly vertical even if the grille is laid to falls, to provide a consistent appearance across the whole site.
