Forbo Develops a Fresh New Tessera Direct Addition

Forbo Flooring Systems has just introduced the stylish yet affordable Barcode design range to its Tessera carpet tile collection. The Barcode range is a colourful take on the ever-growing linear trend that delivers a fresh and modern look for commercial interiors.

In keeping up-to-date with the latest key trends, Forbo has developed a tile range that incorporates fashionable aesthetics with affordability and exceptional service that is synonymous with Tessera Direct. Barcode challenges the uniformity and rigidity of conventional linear loop pile tiles. By combining bands of contrasting colours in varying widths, the range delivers a more eclectic and exuberant look that is right on trend for today’s commercial environments.

Barcode features 18 fresh colourways, each featuring five individual tonal and contrasting shades. This innovative design utilises colours from a new palette of solution-dyed yarns, carefully selected and blended to harmonise with a wide range of interior design schemes.

The linear design and tile format of Barcode lends itself to a multitude of installation options, including brick, tessellated, quarter-turn or the quirky alternative, quarter-brick giving flexibility and creative licence to any space. Combined with exceptional durability, Barcode provides a versatile and adaptable flooring solution.

The entire Barcode range is available on the Tessera Direct scheme. This exceptional service promises a delivery virtually anywhere in the UK within 5 working days on all orders up to 500m2 – or your money back. In addition, Forbo offers advice, technical product data and a ‘floor to door’ sample service to ensure a smooth ordering process.

“The visual appeal of Barcode is matched by its performance. The combination of tightly packed low-level loops and solution-dyed yarn results in a hardwearing, lightfast carpet tile that will keep its good looks, colour contrasts and distinct linearity for many years,” says Janet Lowe, UK Market Manager at Forbo Flooring Systems.

“Barcode has been designed to provide a modern and fresh looking linear tile that is versatile and can be used in various installation formats. We have made sure that the range combines numerous colour options with affordability and the impeccable service delivery that our customers have come to expect from our Tessera Direct promise.”
