Forbo's Fresh Approach to Colourful Linearity Within Commercial Flooring

Forbo Flooring Systems has introduced three new shades into its current Alignment range as well as an additional collection of four bold, bright highlight colours, for maximum impact. Alignment is a sophisticated and cleverly textured cut and loop carpet tile designed to complement the most contemporary of commercial interiors.

Responding specifically to emerging trends in the office sector of bold linearity patterns and sharp accent colours used within furniture and accessories, Forbo is meeting the needs of architects, specifiers and end user clients alike, for a high quality and striking floor covering incorporating these innovative trend elements.

The Alignment highlights colour range can be installed to achieve two very different effects. Used alongside the Nucleus colourway from the main Alignment collection, to designate areas or direct traffic through a sophisticated flooring design installation, as well as on its own to create a striking and bold design statement.

Alignment and Alignment highlights are part of the established Tessera carpet tile collection and feature a fresh approach on linearity, by combining colours within a directional theme, which is tempered by the introduction of intersecting random blocks of rich cut pile. The sophisticated linear fluidity with rich, modern shades in the complete Alignment range, offers specifiers numerous sophisticated and creative design options.

Alignment is manufactured from solution-dyed yarn, ensuring long-lasting colour fastness and durability. It’s also supported by a 10-year guarantee as standard for piece of mind under heavy contract conditions.

“We are committed to providing our customers with the very latest, on trend and high visual impact floor coverings, that respond to the demand in the marketplace. The stylish new colour palette of Alignment mixed with the gentle interplay of textures and modern approach to linearity, makes this carpet tile equally suited to open plan interiors as well as more modest enclosed spaces. In addition, the materials used within its construction have been chosen for their low volatile organic composition,” comments Janet Lowe, UK Market Manager at Forbo Flooring Systems.
