NHS Forth Valley has a population of nearly 300,000 and covers a geographic area from Killin and Tyndrum in the North and Strathblane and Bo'ness in the South.

The new Forth Valley Acute Hospital will have some 860 inpatient and day beds. It will have the full range of acute hospital services including a mental health facility and a women and children's unit.

Phase 1 Practical Completion – May 2010
Phase 2 Practical Completion – Aug 2010
Phase 3 Practical Completion – April 2011

The Project Company undertaking the project comprises a consortium led by John Laing Social Infrastructure Ltd (formerly Equion) and includes Laing O'Rourke (Design and Construction) supported by Keppie Architects, and Serco (Facilities Management).
