Franklin's Barn, Cotwolds

Franklin's Barn, Cotwolds

Client: Private Residence
Value: £3000
Architect: Jason Campbell Architects
Type of works: Incorporating a rooflight into a barn conversion in the Cotswolds requiring great sensitivity. The facility to set the rooflight flush with the tiles and to have concealed openers was fundamental to gaining approval from the Conservation Officer. With such empathy demanded, it is quite possible that without the VITRAL® system, approval for a rooflight of this type would not have been granted.

The finished installation blends beautifully into the roofscape. Set into the Northern side, it provides subtle natural light and comfort ventilation to the stylishly designed interior.
