Western Primary School is a co-education day school for approximately 400 children aged between 3-11 years. In October 2010, Western Primary School completed a refurbishment throughout its classrooms and staircases.

Freeway carpet from Gradus has been installed throughout the school in colour Fern Blue (blue). The carpet complements the schools interior and helps to create a fresh and contemporary environment for both staff and pupils. In addition, the staircases have been fitted with Gradus XT stair edgings which feature an insert that extends around the leading edge of the step, ensuring the foot contact is always made with the slip resistant element of the stair edging.

Freeway offers excellent wear and tear resistance, making it suitable for busy school corridors with frequent pedestrian traffic. Its dense pile also provides excellent under foot comfort.
