Strips of barrier carpeting retained between ridged, extruded-aluminium bars which are connected by aluminium-joining sections.
Accessories
Wellmaid purpose-made matwell frames in a wide choice of brass or aluminium angle sections. Bevelled-aluminium surface-mounted matting surrounds also available.
Size and weight
Alligator can be manufactured to virtually any size or shape; however, for reasons of weight, individual mats are normally supplied in sections not exceeding 2m2.
Weight: 15 to 16kg/m2.
Large areas are neatly covered by butting sections end-to-end or side-by-side.
Appearance
Alligator is supplied in four formats.
Alligator Forefront: 18mm thickness, polypropylene, synthetic-coir, barrier carpeting in a range of 9 colours.
Alligator Interzone: 17mm thickness, chevron ribbed, polypropylene carpeting with a selection of 9 colours.
Alligator Raincheck: 17.5mm thickness, nylon carpeting in 9 practical colours.
Alligator Warcord: 15mm thickness, micro-ribbed polypropylene in 11 colours.

Cleaning and maintenance
Daily vacuum cleaning is recommended, together with occasional removal of the matting for thorough cleaning. Strips should be replaced when worn, or if a new colour is required to blend with a revised design.
