Composition and manufacture
Interceptor consists of channelled strips of replaceable, extra-absorbent, nylon, clean-zone carpeting, which is compression moulded into a tough 8mm backing, and elegantly interspaced by ridged, Silver-finish aluminium scraper sections.
Interceptor matting is supplied in sections, which are easily butted together end-to-end or side-by-side to create the overall size required. The built-in, lap-joint interlocking system virtually eliminates any danger of tripping.
Size and weight
The Interceptor matting is approximately 20mm thick. Bespoke sizes are also available. Consult manufacturer for details.
Interceptor matting is usually supplied in sections not exceeding 2,000mm, left-to-right for ease of handling.

Cleaning and maintenance
Daily vacuum cleaning is recommended, together with occasional removal of the matting for thorough cleaning. Strips should be replaced when worn, or if a new colour is required for a revised design.
