Composition and manufacture
The Crystal™ range comprises a structural glass balustrade point-fixed or channel-fixed at the base. This system has become one of the most popular balustrade solutions as it avoids conspicuous balusters, giving the balustrade an open, prestigious appearance. The glass can be fixed using a variety of unique fixings including a dry wedge-fit channel option and point fixings. The glass can be topped with a range of slotted or offset toprails or laminated glass can be used, for minimal view disruption. Base fixings can be hidden with a variety of trims, can be powder coated in a wide range of colours or effects to suit the surrounding décor, can be left exposed, or can be clad. Toprails are produced in stainless steel, polyester powder coated, brass, timber or a timber-effect coating to match any of the wall handrails.
