Composition and manufacture
Opal™ has an advanced polyester or nylon coating applied to a variety of mild-steel balustrades and handrails. These can include tubular midrails, stainless-steel wires or a choice of toughened-glass and steel-infill panels.
Coral™ is the corresponding coated balustrade, made from a stainless-steel core, as standard, making it suitable for external applications.
Opal™ and Coral™ are both available in most RAL and BS colours or metallic powder coatings, all of which are suitable for internal and external applications.
Sitework
Sapphire Balustrades provides a full design and installation service on all its products, including preparation of working drawings for approval before fabrication. Most of the range is also available to customers’ detailed requirements and fabricated to exacting standards.
