Composition and manufacture

The Duofix frame is formed from high-grade welded steel, giving the system its strength.

The cistern is shrouded in a polystyrene jacket to avoid condensation and to further reduce noise.

Size and weight

Full height frames are 1.12m in height and are ideal for walls with high shelves or no height limitations.
Low height frames are either 820 or 980mm in height and are useful where sanitaryware needs to be fitted below a window or where a lower shelf is desired. In these cases flush plates can be mounted either on the top or on the front of the unit.

Strength

Duofix frames are immensely strong and Duofix WC frames have been load tested to 400kg (63 stone).

Cleaning and maintenance

All moving parts, including the acoustically optimised flush and fill valves, are accessed conveniently through removable flush plates, so that maintenance can be carried out quickly and without difficulty.

Wall-hung solutions allow ample access for cleaning underneath the WC and washbasin, making a more hygenic bathroom.
