The G2 Shelter has been installed on time and to budget at the recently refurbished Skipton Bus Station, the shelter is 44m in length and 2.5m wide, the shelter was developed to provide an attractive and functional solution for road side applications through to transport interchanges and bus stations. The shelter can incorporate all the functions required by modern passenger facilities including LED lighting, electronic real time information, information modules including TFT screens and help points, seating, timetables, integral CCTV and solar powered lighting.

This project also facilitated the provision of automatic doors to increase security and passenger safety. The shelter was designed to fit the challenging site and to a tight budget, it was manufactured at Queensbury Shelters' Portsmouth manufacturing base, and installed and project managed from the Widnes Depot to meet the requirements of the civil works on site and completed to meet the opening date of the bus station.
