Following a successful rollout period last summer, GAP now offer another new product range. The trade specialists have launched yet another new product range, stepping into the world of GRP composite doors for the first time in their history, under their existing HomeFrame brand.

Previously, HomeFrame has served as the name of the brand that GAP have manufactured PVC-U windows and entrance doors under, however since June last year, the trade specialists have incorporated their new range of GRP composite doors into this product umbrella too.

Recent expansion in GAP’s depot network has allowed for investment in a new dedicated production facility based in Knowsley, Merseyside, which oversees their entire GRP composite door operation, from start to finish, in a complete and vertically integrated process.

Joint MD, Simon Bird explains why it was the perfect time for GAP to enter this growing market:
“GRP doors are becoming increasingly popular in homes across the UK and with our recent depot expansion we felt as though we needed to enter with an alternative to our flagship composite door brand, Rockdoor, to give our clients more choice when it comes to choosing stylish and secure entrance doors for their projects. We have over 25 years manufacturing history of fenestration products such as composite doors, PVC-U entrance doors and windows and more recently aluminium bi folds, with the results speaking for themselves, but we have never been able to enter the GRP market in the past."

“Having recently invested into our new production facility based in Knowsley, Merseyside, we are now in a much healthier position than a number of our competitors. Where businesses are struggling to obtain stock and offering lengthier lead times, we currently hold fantastic stock levels and can offer much shorter lead times. With lead times of around three to four weeks, HomeFrame GRP composite doors are now available to purchase directly from GAP, with delivery services offered nationwide.
