GAP (General All-Purpose Plastics), a leading UK manufacturer and trade supplier of low-maintenance PVC-U building products, has been presented with the prestigious Outstanding Contribution Award by Taylor Wimpey, one of the UK’s largest housebuilders.

The accolade was presented to the GAP team at Taylor Wimpey’s annual supplier conference, held at The Belfry.

The award recognises the long-standing partnership between GAP and Taylor Wimpey, which has seen GAP provide BBA-certified building products to developments across the UK, supported by its manufacturing, scheduling, distribution and nationwide depot network.

It also acknowledges the collaborative efforts of teams across GAP who work together to maintain reliable day-to-day fulfilment for Taylor Wimpey sites nationwide.

With supply chain reliability continuing to play an important role across the housebuilding sector, GAP’s extensive infrastructure enables it to respond effectively to both national and local project requirements. The business operates a network of more than 110 trade depots across the UK, supported by significant stockholding, UK manufacturing capabilities, and its own distribution fleet.

This combination allows GAP to provide consistent product availability and dependable deliveries to national housebuilders, regional developers, and contractors.
