Providing the missing link that specifiers have been looking for, the market-leading Geberit Mapress Carbon Steel is now available with a 66.7mm fitting.
Closing the gap between the existing 54mm and 76.1mm fittings, this latest introduction to the Geberit Mapress range sees 11 fittings introduced in the new size, meaning dedicated pipework design is now possible. Geberit Mapress Carbon Steel offers an easy to install, cost effective alternative to copper piping and is corrosion resisant in closed circuit systems.
Made from high quality non-alloy steel, Geberit Mapress Carbon Steel can be used in water heating, cooling water and sprinkler systems, as well as extinguishing water pipes and compressed air networks. The new 66.7mm fitting is available with either a cream plastic jacketing or outside zinc-plated, while non-alloy steel versions are available for sprinkler systems.
Geberit Mapress Carbon Steel is available with a galvinised exterior for use with heating and chilled water systems and galvanised inside and out for sprinkler systems.
Geberit Mapress Carbon Steel fittings are clearly marked in red, with the dimension also labelled to make identification quick and simple. And as with all Geberit Mapress press fittings, the only tools needed to form a reliable, tight connection are a cutter, deburrer and press tool. The fittings are designed so that any connections not pressed during installation can be visibly detected during testing, successfully combining safety with ease of installation on every project.
