Type of works: residential project refurbishment of existing flat-roof structure to incorporate a luxury penthouse at high level.

The MCM single-skin series was selected to refurbish the existing flat-roof structure on this apartment building. The system was chosen due to its ability to curve to the required shape of the roof structure.

The picture above illustrates the vaulted penthouse of the apartment block.

Insulated metal deck also provided a structural base for the MCM single-skin system in this project.

The apartment block was designed to utilise the existing structure and proved a great success in this type of refurbishment project.
