Gerflor has it covered with a compact and acoustic tile

With the resistance of a compact tile and the comfort of an acoustic tile, Saga² is design-led and highly versatile modular PVC flooring that offers an ideal alternative to carpet tiles. Its format is perfectly suited to use with raised access flooring and the tiles may be positioned and repositioned as required where reorganisation and renovation regularly occurs. An added bonus is that at the end of their material life, the tiles can be completely recycled.

When swimwear label Speedo moved its headquarters to the prestigious ng² business park in Nottingham, the company was looking to create a futuristic, state-of-the-art image. The choice of carpet was ruled out as a flooring solution as the company wanted a clean and contemporary look for its headquarters. Instead, Speedo opted for some 3,000m² of Saga² acoustic vinyl tiles from Gerflor. These have contributed to the creation of interiors which fuse transparency, opacity, and intelligent use of colour and natural light to create a modern, vibrant and inspiring working environment.

Saga² offers unrivalled performance and builds on the success of Saga - a resilient floor tile that is laid with a tackifier adhesive and can be easily lifted and replaced - an innovation first pioneered and developed by Gerflor over 20 years ago.

Stylish and durable, the 50 x 50cm tiles have a 0.7mm 100% PVC wearlayer, making them suitable for heavy traffic areas and ideal for use in offices, hotels, retail and public areas. For the designer, the collection’s extensive palette of colours and patterns ranges from natural wood and textile to beige colours, fresh blue tones and grey and marble shades for contemporary style.
