Gherkin lawyers divided with Skyfold

Gherkin lawyers divided with Skyfold

As part of a high-spec refurbishment, partitioning expert Style was specified to add flexibility to the UK offices and meeting areas of law firm, Kirkland & Ellis International LLP, based in the iconic Gherkin building, London.

In addition to a bespoke glass moveable wall that perfectly matches an existing partition, Style recommended their unique Skyfold vertical-rising partition to divide the larger space into two separate rooms at the press of a button. Benefiting from Skyfold’s exceptional acoustic performance, meetings can run concurrently yet with absolute privacy. Being fully automatic, the dividing wall can be raised in an instant to open out the space for larger events.

Working with main contractors, Collins Construction, and architects Pringle Brandon Perkins & Will, Style has effectively combined a number of partitioning wall systems to deliver increased flexibility to the meeting facilities on level 22 of this impressive building. To complement the Skyfold, Style was also asked to supply and install a bespoke glass moveable wall. This had to be specially sourced by Style in order to precisely match another partition installed over a decade previously.
