Giltbrook Retail Park, Nottingham

Giltbrook Retail Park, Nottingham

Type of works: supply and installation of co-ordinated street furniture.

Giltbrook Retail Park is a high-quality development, with over 159,000 sq ft of retail space, including such house hold names as BHS, Mamas & Papas, Scs, Comet and many more.

Bailey Streetscene was chosen to supply a range of co-ordinated street furniture for the prestigious Giltbrook retail park after extensive meetings with the architects and main contractor. Bailey Streetscene collated a family of co-ordinated street furniture products that consisted of over 600 bollards, 42 stainless-steel cycle stands, 41 mild-steel cycle stands, 35 ductile cast-iron and timber benches and 19 ductile cast-iron litter bins.

The bollards positioned along the front line of all the shops provided pedestrian security and acted as a ram raid deterant. In the car park areas the bollards were used for traffic management and tree protection.
