Glasdon has provided its Carleton 50™ Smoking Shelter and brand new Elwood™ Seats for Heriot-Watt University. Founded in 1821 as the world's first Mechanics' Institute, Heriot-Watt earned full University status in 1966 and is consistently rated as one of the best higher education establishments in the United Kingdom.

The University recently invested in a smart Carleton 50™ Smoking Shelter from Glasdon. The 3x2 layout shelter was specified with a pitched roof and in a special brown finish to blend in with the beautiful woods around the campus.

Along with their new smoking shelter, we supplied Heriot-Watt with our brand new Elwood™ Seats. Elwood Recycled Material Seats are made from a low maintenance Everwood™ Material, Enviropol® Material and/or Timberpol® Material to give the natural appearance of real wood with none of the expensive and time-consuming maintenance timber requires.
