Style installed two fully automatic, glass moveable walls for the newly refurbished London head office of Winton Capital Management.
Working with contractor, Control Group UK, Style was tasked with installing a combination of moveable walls that would allow a large open-plan area to be divided into two functional meeting spaces.
Although only spanning relatively narrow areas, fully automatic partitioning walls were recommended, ensuring the meeting rooms can be created within a matter of moments, whenever required.
Style recommended the DORMA Moveo double-glazed solution as a high-end operable wall with exceptional 50dB acoustics, ensuring a good defence against external noise.
Positioned to segment a busy open-plan area, the walls allow private meeting rooms to be quickly created by just pressing a button.
Supporting Winton’s commitment to low carbon emissions, the DORMA Moveo moveable wall holds an environmental product declaration (EPD) in accordance with ISO 14025 and EN 15804, making it a highly sustainable system, as well as being stylish and practical too.
“It was important to the design that a feeling of openness was retained,” explains Julian Sargent, Style’s group managing director. “The glazed option ensures plenty of natural light throughout the space whilst complimenting the contemporary décor of the refurbished offices.”
