Hambleside Danelaw has been successful in winning a prestigious Scottish Green Apple Award for their carbon footprint reduction. This recognises Hambleside Danelaw as a leader in environmental endeavour.

The company’s entry competed with more than 100 other nominations from organisations, councils and communities. Hambleside were presented with the trophy at the presentation ceremony at Edinburgh Zoo on the 2nd September 2013. Ray Khan, Hambleside Danelaw’s Director of Quality & Environmental Standards was in attendance to accept the award.

The Green Apple Awards are hosted by the non-political, non-profit group The Green Organisation, dedicated to recognising, rewarding and promoting environmental best practice around the world. This is a welcome addition to the Green Apple Awards we have won in previous years for our commitment to the environment.
