Hamptons Conservatories in idyllic Portugese wine bar

Hamptons Conservatories in idyllic Portugese wine bar

This impressive conservatory was created as an extension to the existing Restaurant and Wine Bar, at Symington Port Lodge, porto, to create Vinum Restaurant and Wine Bar.

Situated amongst the hills of Gaia, Vinum offers the best views day and night of this picturesque city, with all medieval landmarks beautifully floodlit. Hamptons Conservatories utilised the pathway at the original 19th century building to create a large hipped conservatory with five section bi-fold doors on either end, allowing the space to be used in comfort on a year round basis.

During winter, it can be entirely closed, but still allow expansive views of the city below, while in summer, with the doors open and the roof shaded by mature grape vines, it becomes part of the terrace, creating an idyllic setting for enjoying Porto’s year round sunshine.

This conservatory enclosure measures 26600 mm wide x 5600 mm deep x 3600 mm high with a floor area of 130 sq m.
