James Hardie has provided their HardiePlank® weatherboard for a new primary school building in Swindon. Working for clients the Clifton Diocese and Swindon Borough Council, Holy Cross School brings 2,000m2 of additional classrooms and facilities for 420 pupils.

Working closely with architect Cullinan Design, Beard Construction used HardiePlank® weatherboard in a mix of bold, bright colours – Parkside Pine and Ocean Blue – interspersed with white and black to create a fresh, fun and contemporary aesthetic. The look was completed using a vertical installation method to create a striking visual effect in upright stripes.
