Wood Energy has installed a containerised 100kW Hargassner wood pellet boiler in the services yard of the Lingfield Park Marriott Hotel & Country Club. The biomass boiler was used to meet renewable energy planning requirements but also reduces carbon emissions and saves on energy costs.

The Lingfield Park Marriott Hotel & Country Club is nestled within 360 acres of rolling Surrey countryside with magnificent views over the famous racecourse and golf course. The pellet boiler selected is the UK’s 1st installation of a containerised Hargassner boiler and demonstrates Lingfield Park’s commitment to sustainable development.

The 100kW boiler is set up to provide the base load heat demand to the hotel. The boiler features fully automatic operation, self cleaning heat exchangers and automatic ignition. The system has optimised combustion using a lambda sensor and automatic de-ashing to a box on the front of the machine that can be emptied while the machine is still running.
