Hastings Museum

Client: Hastings Museum
Type of works: supply of White oak handrails, powder coated & glass balustrades from B A Systems.

B A Systems specialist ability to produce seamless flowing handrails was put to good use on this project at a historic museum in Hastings.

The White oak handrails provided a timeless dignity in keeping with the historic nature of the building, whilst metalwork was powder coated to match the steel of the building structure.

A twin 50 x 10mm powder-coated steel flat-bar balustrade was used, with 50mm Ø solid oak handrails. These were polished and lacquered to a high-quality finish. 10mm toughened glass infill panels were also incorporated.
