Heritage Art Deco Windows in Channel 4 hit show

The Heritage Window Company appeared in the season finale of George Clarke’s Old House, a Channel 4 hit show.

The property was a 1930’s Art Deco property with amazing views over Newquay and it featured a number of bespoke Art Deco and Curved Glass Windows from The Heritage Window Company to take the property back to its original look of 1935 but of course with modern improvements such as security and insulation.

The original house was a snip at £465,000 and whilst the original planned budget of works was £100,000 with the addition of skylights, bi-fold doors and interior upgrades not originally planned – the final cost did come 50% over at £150,000 – It was well worth the extra spend though.

The first series of George Clarke’s Old House, New Home took older or perhaps, different properties and followed the goings on during renovations back to an original state or modernisation.
