Unity Full Height toilet cubicles were specified for a touch of contemporary elegance at the newly built Heyford Hotel.

The project
The Heyford is a luxurious hotel comprising of 18 boutique rooms, a restaurant, bar and bowling alley. The hotel is set in the new mixed-use development of Heyford Park in Oxfordshire, which has transformed a former military airbase into a modern take on a traditional English village.

The challenge
The developer, Dorchester Group is dedicated to building neighbourhoods that are socially sustainable, creating a sense of community that is accessible to all.

The Heyford a newly opened boutique hotel at the heart of the village centre has a real sense of style and luxury and this has been reflected in the washroom design. Constructed from a combination of the old buildings and new-build, The Heyford Hotel required completely new female, male and accessible toilet cubicles and a family toilet with changing facilities.

T-IPS Washrooms, Venesta accredited installers, were appointed to complete the full fit-out of all the washroom facilities.

The solution.
For that touch of contemporary elegance Unity Full Height toilet cubicles were specified for all the washroom facilities in the hotel complex. Our ‘Weathered Grey’ wood effect solid grade laminate (SGL) with slimline satin anodised aluminium fittings created a sleek, modern design, complementing the interiors seen throughout the rest of the building.

Our Unity cubicles, which are flush fronted for a floating appearance, are simple yet stylish. Ideal for public entertainment areas, Unity toilet cubicles are robust enough to withstand high traffic and daily cleaning.

Rapiduct SGL, our simple low-cost duct panelling system, was specified for inside all the toilet cubicles also in 'Weathered Grey' to complement the Unity cubicles. The male washrooms also feature urinal privacy screens installed at full height for maximum privacy and with floor to ceiling posts for strength.

All products were specified in SGL making them impact resistant and also totally waterproof, so perfect for WC and urinal panelling.

Hardwearing solid surface vanity units in ‘Everest’ feature throughout the hotel washrooms due to their impact resistant and long lasting qualities. A blend of acrylic polymer minerals is used to create a single moulded surface to achieve a stone-like appearance. These sleek vanity units were fitted with fully inset basins for a seamless, integrated appearance.

In addition, a baby changing unit with anti-roll front upstand and hygienic wipe-clean HPL surface was specified for the family washroom. A stylish yet practical solution for the enlarged family toilet cubicle.
