Hotel lift success

Hotel lift success

Public Access Limited were asked to conduct a comprehensive passenger lift asset survey across the complete newly acquired Queens Moat House Hotel Group by Rezidor Park Inn Hotels.

The surveys were designed to highlight key areas of non conformance of the aging lift estate spread across some 8 site locations throughout England and Wales.

18 lifts were identified spread across 8 different sites and a budget of £1million pounds agreed for the project which was made available for the project which was programmed for a period of 38 weeks where care and attention had to be made to these working hotels.

In particular Public Access focused on aesthetic appearance and DDA compliance and re-designed all fixtures and fittings within the lift cars thus developing a common brand appearance in keeping with ones expectations of a modern hotel lift.

To further enhance the aesthetic appearance attention was made to drives and control systems which were replaced with state of the art equipment which is designed to provide safe smooth travel.
